Assign the class jobs

Use one roster for the chart and helper pages

Paste the student names, keep only the jobs your classroom uses, and choose how assignments move from one rotation to the next.

Set up the rotation

  1. Paste one student per line and remove names that should not be assigned in this rotation.
  2. Edit the job titles and short duty descriptions, then choose individual or group rotation.
  3. Print the chart first and add job cards, name clips, a tracker, or a substitute list only when needed.

Make the chart easier to maintain

Use short job names

Names such as Line Leader or Materials Helper fit more clearly on cards and clips.

Describe the actual duty

A short action statement reduces confusion when a student or substitute checks the chart.

Print blank cards for changes

Keep a few blank job cards for new students, temporary jobs, or midweek adjustments.
